The MediDrive TMS platform is designed to replace a medical provider's direct use of ridesharing app solutions. As such, the provider's practice or facility pays for all rides directly.

What happens if the patient has medical benefits that cover transportation?

Accepted Answer

At this time, the provider's practice would need to contact the patient's health plan directly to determine applicable medical benefits and identify the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) broker responsible for arranging covered transportation.

How do I pay for the rides?

The MediDrive TMS platform requires your business banking information during account setup and will automatically deduct the cost of each ride and the booking fee once a ride is completed. The MediDrive TMS platform handles all billing and payments to transportation providers and rideshare platforms thereafter.
